Hey fellow farmwives! Life on the farm can be a wild and wonderful ride. We've got our hands full with critters to tend to, crops to nurture, and a never-ending to-do list that seems to multiply faster than rabbits in springtime. Staying organized amidst all this chaos can be a bit like herding chickens, but fear not, because we've got some good ol' down-to-earth tips to help you keep your farmhouse in order.
1. Get Yourself a Good Old-Fashioned Planner: Start with the basics! A trusty paper planner might seem old-school in this digital age, but there's something deeply satisfying about jotting down your tasks with a pencil. Schedule your chores, note important dates, and leave room for unexpected surprises, because you know they'll come a-knockin' just when you least expect them.
2. Prioritize Like a Farmer: Farm life throws plenty at us, but not everything needs your attention at once. Prioritize your tasks based on what's urgent and what can wait a spell. Those critters need to be fed pronto, but maybe the tractor tune-up can hold off a day or two.
3. Keep a Farm Journal: Y'all, a farm journal is like a treasure trove of knowledge. Write down what worked and what didn't, jot down the weather patterns, and record the quirks of your animals. It's your own personal farmer's almanac, and it'll be invaluable when you're planning for the next planting season.
4. Make Lists: Lists are your best friends on the farm. Whether it's a list of supplies to pick up in town or a list of repair tasks around the barn, writing it down keeps you organized. And there's no sweeter satisfaction than crossing off each item one by one.
5. Embrace Technology, but Don't Let It Rope You In: Sure, smartphones and apps can be mighty handy. Use them to set reminders, access weather forecasts, and even track livestock health. But don't let the lure of technology pull you away from the hands-on work that makes farm life so special.
6. Involve the Family: Running a farm ain't a one-person rodeo. YOU aren't the only one that can do things! Get the whole family involved in keeping things organized. Assign tasks, hold family meetings, and share the load. After all, teamwork makes the dream work.
7. Give Yourself a Break: Farmwives are some of the hardest-working folks around, but even we need a breather. Don't forget to schedule some downtime for yourself and your loved ones. A well-rested wive and mom can do her just much better - it's just that simple.
8. Flexibility Is Key: Life on the farm is full of surprises, and no matter how well you plan, things will go sideways from time to time. Don't be afraid to adapt and roll with the punches. It's all part of the adventure.
So there you have it, friends. Staying organized on the farm may be a bit like herding chickens, but with a little planning, prioritizing, and a down-to-earth approach, you'll be well on your way to keeping your farmhouse and your sanity in check. Happy farming, y'all!

I hope these planners find their way into your farms and inspire you to live so you can look back and be proud of all that you have accomplished. The Farmhouse Planner is designed to remind you daily that everything adds up, there’s joy in every day chores, and that happiness truly is found in life’s simple moments—in the barnyard, in the kitchen, and often in between the second and third cup of iced tea on a sunny summer afternoon. Above all else, we hope that The Farmhouse Planner encourages you to be intentional with your dreams, finding joy in what matters each day, and helps you get back to your roots – and to live like they did 100 years ago on the old family farm.

Here are The Farmhouse Planner cover options:
The first cover option is Old Barnwood. This cover is inspired from my old farmhouse that I grew up in. There was an old white barn on the property that reminded me of an old dairy barn. There were built in feed and hay mangers and the whole barn just screamed history.
The second cover option is Red Linen. This cover was inspired from my love of the farmhouse kitchen. So much takes places within the 4 walls of the kitchen. I want us to be reminded to slow down and eat dinner with our families again. Put down the phone and social media and just spend time with the people that matter the most to you.
The final cover option is Holstein Love! I can still remember bottle feeding the little holstein calves as a kid on the farm. Those times remind me of how much I learned on the farm.
